Our adventure begins in a local neighborhood just beyond the city center, where we'll sip coffee, Italian-style, and mingle with the locals. From there, we'll head to a bustling open-air market to meet local fisherman and butchers and sample our next delicious tasting. As we continue our walk through winding cobblestone streets, we'll stop at historical and family-owned shops to indulge in a carefully selected array of food and drink tastings, including truffles, first-press olive oil, balsamic vinegar, meats, cheeses, wine, gelato, and more. From classic "cantucci" to traditional bites like "coccolo ripieno," you'll savor the essence of the region. This culinary adventure is not just about taste but also about experiencing the city and its cultural highlights, providing a truly immersive cultural experience!     Discover the local neighborhood of Sant'Ambrogio. Here you will feel like you are a part of the local community as we stop and have tastings at local and family-owned shops.

    We continue on with our tastings we will pass through the city center strolling along it's cobble stoned streets getting glimpses of the magnificent Duomo along the way.

  • Basilica di San Lorenzo

    See the famous church of the Medici family as we pass by on our way to our tastings. We will have a few different tastings at local shops near the Church of San Lorenzo.

We were lucky that everyone cancelled due to rain so we got a private tour with a fabulous guide. It was the highlight of our Florence trip. It was a great insight into Tuscan food and wine.

We loved that we got to explore a local neighborhood outside of the craziness of the city center. On this tour we got to see what it is like for locals, where they do their shopping, have their coffee, and enjoy the day to day! Each tasting was wonderful and you can tell that it was well thought out so that we could try many different local specialties! Thank you for a wonderful tour!
