Overview

we will start through the tea plantations for about 90 to 120 minutes, After reaching the top of the hill, rest of our couple of hours trek will be on the ridge which offers beautiful views around, through grasslands, one side will be rocky mountain slope and the other side will be tea plantations, patches of Shola forest etc…, in a clear sky day we could see the Anaimudi “highest peak in S. India” and the water reservoir of Idukki Dam which listed as highest arch dams in Asia and third tallest dam in India. We will have refreshment with some fruits and snacks, our trek we will be through Nature Zone nature resort where we can see some of exotic spices like Coffee, Cardamom, etc…, After will continue our Walk to the most top peak (2000 mtr) then will walk back through shola forest about 10 minutes to tea plantation. Will have another 90 minutes to 120 minutes walk through the tea plantations to finish the trek, highest point of this trek will be about 2000 meters MSL (approx).

Great day trekking in Lakshmi Hills Plantation

We had a wonderful days trekking in the Lakshmi Hills Tea Plantation and in the adjoining forest. Our guide Ramesh looked after us very well. He took time to explain the plants and, other points if interest. He also provided us with a very nice lunch and fruits en route.

Very great experience with our guide Samy. He was very well informed and liked to share his knowledge about the tee, the economy, aryuvedic medical Plants and much more. Also we got a very tasty, homemade lunch at the top of a mountain and many fruits. We absolutely recommend this experience, also the price ist totally fair!

We had an unforgettable day hiking through Munnar’s stunning tea plantations. Our guide, Ramesh, was fantastic—so knowledgeable about the local flora, pointing out unique plants, trees and wildflowers along the way. The scenery was breathtaking, with rolling green hills, colourful flowers, and plenty of beautiful birds to spot. The hike was made even better by the delicious snacks, including many varieties of fresh local fruit—perfect for keeping us energised. A truly memorable experience and a must-do for nature lovers. Huge thanks to Ramesh for making it so special!

Had a great full day hike with Mr. Ramesh :) amazing views, super delicious lunch, good conversations. We even saw a wild elephant grazing in the tea fields! Strongly recommend :)

Amazing 7 hour hike. The tour guide King was fantastic, he had much knowledge about the area and was very passionate. The views on the hike her great, forest, tea plantations and mountains. The tour guide King also had great plant, spices and herb knowledge and their properties, which made the hike extra special. Would highly recommend this hike!
