Phillip tour guide of the year!

We went trekking with Phillip today in the beautiful tea country in Munnar. The scenery was spectacular . We went to a local village and visited the kindergarten, the children were lovely and loved the presents we brought. We were then invited for tea to celebrate Rosalind’s birthday, the kindergarten teacher. We proceeded to the tea factory through the lovely tea gardens searching for wild elephants en route.loved the tea factory and will Now appreciate our cup of tea everyday having seen the work that goes into the manufacture of tea! Phillip was an absolutely fantastic tour guide, very informative and full of fun. Thank you for a fabulous morning. Kind regards Nancy

Interesting trek!

Really interesting trek, got to see a lot of the beautiful tea plantation and Munnar scenery. The view from the top of the peak was amazing, and also got to walk through a little forest. Philip our guide was great, helpful and knowledgeable!

Philip was an amazing guide. Very informative about all plants, animals, local culture and food. We enjoyed a local breakfast favourite while enjoying beautiful views from the mountain top. We learned about the local tea industry and were lucky enough to see some harvesting. I highly recommend this tour!

Stunning views

We so enjoyed this trek! It was fabulous to get out and up to the tops of the hills, walking through tea plantations. Balu was a friendly and well informed guide who explained the growing and processing of tea as we went. We went ‘up’ but it was a continuous slope with a couple of stepper bits, so you should be able bodied and I wouldn’t recommend for small children. The views from the very top were stunning and breakfast was provided which we enjoyed at the top. We were a couple but joined by 2 other couples for the walk - we all got in really well which helped the enjoyment of the trek.
