    National Reserve it is important to find at least 70 different types of birds, among which it is worth mentioning the presence of the parihuanas, both the common flamingo and the Andean parihuana or also the Parihuana de James. In this reserve you can also find the Andean condor, which is considered the largest flying bird in the world. It is important among the bird species that are in danger or at risk of extinction, in addition to the condor and the Andean flamingo mentioned: the suri, which is a species of Andean ostrich

Fantastic nature experience & guidance

The tour with Gustavo Taco (Peru Baby Lama Tours) to the Salt Lake Salinas was fantastic. The landscape alone is definitely worth seeing. Gustavo took us to the most beautiful places and told us a lot of interesting things. He was in great mood and very engaged in telling us about his country. There was also enough time to move alone in the wild mountain landscape. Good lunch, great organization. Muchas gracias! A few days later I did the 2-days-Trekkingtour to Colca Canyon - fantastic tour & guidance & perfect organization - I can recommend Peru Baby Lama Tours/Arequipa.

I enjoyed my trip to Salinas a lot. The locations are beautiful, and the local food for breakfast and lunch was amazing. The thermal bath experience at 4500 meters was outstanding. Daniel, our guide, was amazing, always friendly and helpful. I had lots of fun taking pictures with reflections and dinosaurs. The driver was great too! I highly recommend this trip
