    Iceland's most popular sightseeing route, where three of the country's most spectacular natural wonders can be seen on the same trip.

  • Thingvellir National Park

    Head first to Thingvellir National Park with your guide. It was here, in the year 930, that the Icelandic national parliament was founded. Known locally as Althingi, the institution stands today as the oldest of its kind in the world, but that’s not the only reason it’s such a special place. It is here, in the Thingvellir National Park, that the mighty tectonic plates of North America and Europe meet.

    Journey on to the Haukadalur geothermal area, where the hot springs of Geysir and Strokkur await. Discover impressive geothermal features such as bubbling mud pools, and marvel at the Strokkur geyser’s regular eruptions.

    A more famous but less active geyser, located next to Strokkur.

  • Gullfoss Waterfall

    Continue on to the impressive Gullfoss waterfall, widely considered to be one of Iceland’s most beautiful sights. Gullfoss is fed by the Hvítá River, which tumbles down dramatically over a series of rocky steps into deep plunge pools below. Marvel at the falls’ power and perhaps take a moment to capture the views on camera.

Great Tour!

After our tour was cancelled at last minute by another tour company, we were thrilled to have been able to book onto this tour last minute. There were lots of pick up options and the bus hostel was easy to locate from town. We had such a great time on the tour. Our tour guide was AMAZING! Friendly, funny and knowledgeable and loved telling us about his country. The stops were great and we had lots of time to explore each stop when we arrived too! I’d really recommend, it met all of our expectations and more!

We had an amazing tour around the Golden Circle with our guide Darren and driver Helgi. Darren was extremely knowledgeable and did an excellent job. Helgi was a very good driver and the coach was comfy and warm. I would highly recommend the tour.

Did the golden circle tour just after new year. It was our fav tour of them all- beautiful sights, well-timed stops, and best of all Darrin taught us so much about Iceland’s history and culture, and told great stories. Looking fwd to coming back in the summer!

A perfect way to see 3 of Icelands stunning history in one tour. There's plenty of time to explore, take pictures and just take in this beautiful history. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and friendly. I'd highly recommend this tour.
