Overview

This 5 hour tour (7 hours on a Saturday) is a perfect way to see nipaluna (Hobart) major attractions including Salamanca market (Saturday only). It's a great introduction to Hobart major attractions without having to commit to a full day tour. It is a fully guided tour with plenty of free time to do everything at your own leisure. The tour is in a mini bus and you will have a local passionate tour guide who is packed full of all things Tasmania. We offer pickups at 9 locations in and around the city which you will start and have the option of finishing at.   Please note that this is a 7 hour tour on Saturdays which means you will have plenty of time to explore the Salamanca Markets and get some more time to explore Richmond.

  • Mount Wellington

    Let's visit the awe-inspiring kunanyi, also known as Mt. Wellington, where you can indulge in the renowned pristine air of Tasmania. Ascend to the pinnacle at 1272m and be mesmerized by the breathtaking panoramic view of Hobart and its picturesque surroundings. Don't miss the opportunity to capture the perfect Instagram-worthy selfie against this stunning backdrop of Hobart and beyond.

  • Salamanca Market

    On Saturday's (only) we will have a 75 minute stop at Hobart's most visited tourist attraction the Salamanca market. 300 stallholders, the market includes fresh produce hot coffee, delicious home grown food and produce, lots of souviners, gifts and many handmade products. A true cultural experience.

  • Richmond Bridge

    Step back in time as you explore Richmond, a quaint little township nestled in the heart of the Coal Valley wine region. Walk the streets of this iconic township which is rich in convict history, sandstone colonial buildings and home to Australia’s oldest bridge, catholic church and oldest intact gaol. A great place to sample some local food and wine, have some lunch and visit the many quaint local art and craft shops.

    A city loop with fully guided commentary as we drive you around the streets of nipaluna (Hobart). It covers all the important locations and landmarks across the Hobart CBD and beyond. Expect to see Salamanca Place, Parliament House, Cascade Brewery, Female Factory, Battery Point, Tasman Bridge and many more. A Great Overview of Hobart with A Great Tour Guide - Steve

I was fortunate enough to join this tour with an unusually small group of people. My tour guide, Steve, was fantastic. He explained all sights in detail and shared a lot of his own insights. He even took me to purchase leatherwood honey! Weather was great too that day. Anyway, for this kind of tour, having a great tour guide is the key and I was lucky enough to have Steve!

What a wonderful time we had Tammy(I hope I spelled it correctly) our tour guide was friendly, professional, and very helpful We felt like family in the the van which was comfortable and clean I had a tooth infection and without question she stopped and wait for me to get my medication 1 million stars for her Thank you

Booked the half day but ended up doing the full day tour which was so worth it! Mark was an awesome host, a wealth of knowledge and a talent for remembering names. We thoroughly enjoyed his commentary and this tour! Would highly recommend.
