It was a heavily misted morning with a decent breeze blowing on top of Mt Wellington. I have limited mobility and frequently need a small fold up wheelchair, so I did walk staying close to the bus (kept the chair dry from the mist). The morning Driver on Sat 25th Was So Helpful. You Don't need clear skies, as nice as that would have been. What I saw blew my mind - the changing trees and growth as we drove higher, and at the top? It was just incredible! All the rocks, lichen, puddles, plants and grasses with their colours being constantly changed by the mist will stay with me forever.
The Richmond Village Shuttle was the achievement of a personal dream. The Bridge Anniversary is happening as I type this. To have seen it in all it's natural beauty, the Churches and boutique shops left me nothing to be desired, albeit happily staying on board, warm and dry. The wheelchair use was made easy with a neat lift. With clearing weather and Awesome Driver Guide Jason, I chose to go to Wicked Cheese. I left there with a goody bag of goat and dairy free cheeses and some Prickly Box honey plus one of their yummy cheese and salad platters, the latter which I enjoyed that evening.
A wonderful day, meeting happy incredible people from all-over with one intent = enjoying a day with very knowledgeable, understanding and caring drivers.
The memories of this day on these 2 Shuttles I will relive and always enjoy daily in so many ways and not least, all the photos I managed to take and some very special ones taken for me by Jason. Thank You Jason especially for helping me achieve my Tasmanian dream and hold it close, In Spades, Forever
