Overview

Join us as we hike to La Chorrera, Colombia´s highest waterfall! We´ll start the day with a traditional Colombian breakfast. Then we´ll set off by a van to La Chorrera. Next we will reach the park and set off on our trek, taking in the spectacular landscape, breathing the pure air and enjoying the colorful birds(depending of the season we may not see birds) found at the top of the trees, finally reaching the 590 meter wall of water (depends of the season the chorrera maybe dont have water; but the tour still worth it just for the vews). We´ll have lunch at a restaurant before heading back to Bogotá. This 3-4 hour hike is challenging but rewarding, please make sure to bring comfortable shoes and bottled water! Know before you go This is a medium-hard hike You’ll be hiking at elevations ranging from 6,309 to 8,530 feet (1,923 to 2,600 meters) above sea level Dress appropriately for hiking in nature and rainy conditions You should be able to handle uneven terrain to go on this hike.

In this hole-in-the-wall restaurant/bakery we´ll have our first stop and enjoy a traditional Colombian breakfast before hitting the road.

Next we will start our hike of the Chorrera Waterfall. It will take between 3-4 hours, complete with breathtaking views and a jaw-dropping diversity of vegetation.

Excellent experience. Our guide, Luis, was very conscientious and made sure everyone was comfortable with the pace of the hike. Luis was very knowledgeable about the area and spoke excellent English. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone wanting to experience the beauty of nature in an area close to Bogota

The entire trip was great. Carlos was fantastic behind the scenes and Lorena was a fantastic tour guide. Breakfast and lunch were delicious and the scenery of the tour was beautiful. This is a challenging hike, but well worth it.

Yvonne was our guide with just me and another woman. The meet up was easy to find, breakfast was wonderful. The ride up to the mountain was beautiful and the hike was hard but we learned some cool history about the area. Lunch was amazing and Yvonne really gave us some great vibes the whole time. There were a few options for bathrooms but make sure you bring some paper with you (don't put it in the toilet). The waterfall was kinda dry, but it was still such a beautiful hike. Highly recommend!
