The meeting point is a long way from downtown Shanghai but don't let that put you off. Its well worth the effort, we took a taxi there and returned on the metro, nearest station a 15 minute walk away. Mai was a great guide who spoke very good English showed us many of the highlights of Shanghai you could only experience on a bike or on foot. Shanghai is quite flat so perfect for cycling, we were a little apprehensive about riding a bike on the very busy roads but once you got "tuned in" to the traffic system it felt quite safe and definitely the best way to get around. Chinese food from a local restaurant was provided. Overall a great day and highly recommended.

May was a very nice, helpful and lovely person. She showed us so many authentical sights of shanghai. Her englisch was very good. We ate delicious homemade dumplings. May also gave me for my next two days in Shanghai very good tips to go or not to go. Her recommondations were very helpful for me. She is an insider! She also showed me where i could get a wonderful and cheap massage. After the tour she even brought me to the massage and picked me up later. I really recommend this tour with May!!

Fun day-long bike trip across Shanghai. Decent bike, Bike lanes were good on busy streets. Tour wove together highlights of British, French, Japanese concession along with Old Town. So much to see in Shanghai - with so much being spread in different neighborhoods. No better way to get a feel for the city. Do it early and then find places to return later in your visit for great food. May is one of a kind!

Thoroughly enjoyed our cycle with Mayfer through the streets of Shanghai stopping along the way to see & learn about the life of local people. Riding through the hustle & the bustle of the city was fun & following a guide made it an easy activity. Enjoyed the yummy lunch. We are a couple nearly 60 years old. If we can do it so can you.
