Overview

Southeast of the Citadel, on both banks of the Perfume River, are seven royal tombs. Monuments to the rulers of the Nguyen dynasty, including Khai Dinh and Minh Mang tomb, the tombs are all definitely worth a visit. Each one is built in the traditional Vietnamese style of geomancy, even modifying the surrounding landscape to ensure straight lines, certain directional orientation, and other elements designed to comply with supernatural forces... 13:00-13:20 pick up at hotel in Hue city center to for a half day joining tour to discover two famous Khai Dinh and Minh Mang royal tomb. At the end of the day a quick stop to visit Conical hat and insence making village before transfer back to city center.

Two-temple tour in Hue, Vietnam

Despite the torrential rain, we had a great tour and a wonderful, knowledgeable and articulate guide, Tan. The tombs are amazing! We saw the tomb of Khai Dinh and Tu Doc. Both are amazing but the Khai Dinh one is a must see. The mosaic work throughout is stunning! The stone mandarins that guard both tombs are incredible! Really a must-see for both of them.

Brilliant tour

Brilliant tour, the sights are stunning and having a guide makes such a difference as you can learn so much and can ask questions. Xi our guide was truly fantastic, so knowledgeable and really friendly. She also went totally above and beyond recommending restaurants when we asked and advising us on options for the motorbike tour we were looking into. Absolutely brilliant, highly recommend.

Great tour with Ms Fi

We had two wonderful days with Ms Fi and enjoyed every moment of the tours. We visited three of the royal tombs on the first days and the citadel and two pagodas on the second. Ms Fi is a very knowledgeable and caring tour guide that will be able to answer all your questions and provide great recommendations for local food or crafts. Ask for her if you are booking this tour and you will not regret it.

Dragon boat trip to tombs and temples

We were guided by Ms Fi who made the trip a great experience with her knowledge and assistance. She collected us from our accommodation and took us to the dragon boat for our journey. We visited a Pagoda, the Minh Mang tomb and Hon Chen temple and Fi was the perfect guide. Highly recommended.
