It was incredible. The pools were amazing with such fantastic views. We felt incredibly relaxed afterwards and the soup was delicious.

A hot spring with gorgeous views and tasty snacks

Hvammvik hot springs is a wonderful stop for a leisurely soak with epic views. The cafe is small with good, light fare. We got there early when it wasn't too crowded but it does fill up fast (book ahead). Towels, robes and shoes are extra so if you want to save bring your own. We will return since my only complaint is I wanted more time - the tour gives about 2 hrs. I could have spent at least 4 hours there!

Perfect day in the most beautiful location

This was our second visit to Hvammsvik. It might actually be our favourite place in the world! It’s beautiful. Gorgeous hot springs in the most incredible location on the beach. Lots of different temp pools, steam room and incredible restaurant. Make sure you try the food- it’s wonderful. Best food that we had in Iceland. I really can’t put into words how wonderful this place is! Great and easy transfers and pick ups/drop offs with Reykjavik excursions. We had the same driver as last year- really lovely friendly guy
