The trip was truly worth my time! highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of going. :) Robin was a very knowledgeable and genuine guide. Very happy to see kelongs with their fishermans and things that we usually don't see everyday as a city person.

An absolute treat and a wonderful evening spent on the waters of Singapore. Robin is a friendly, warm and knowledgeable guide. He answered any questions we had and we learnt a lot about the few beautiful kelongs that still exist. We ended our tour with a delicious seafood dinner, against the backdrop of a stunning sunset. Robin was so gracious and generous with his time, letting us finish our meal and soak in the sunset before heading back to shore well after the end time of the tour. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique Singaporean experience.

We were on a boat trip to visit Singapore’s kelongs with Robin. He was very knowledgable about fish farming in Singapore and we were brought to see an original, disused kelong with stilts . Many of these original kelongs have vanished from Singapore due to abandonment of the traditional fishing methods. As we plied the Johore Sraits , passing Pulau Ubin, we were treated to sights of migratory terns, a hornbill flying over head, Long tailed macques up in the trees on Ubin and silvery ikan bilis jumping out of the water as they skimmed along the water’s surface. Dinner at Smith Marine Restaurant gave us the opportunity to see a working fish farm and to catch a beautiful sunset before heading back to land. A very unique experience that one should not miss!

We were able to see and experience a lot at a fairly pleasant pace. Our guide, Robin, was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He answered all the questions that folks in our group have for him.

Decided to embark on a boat tour around Singapore's remaining kelongs and the other side of pulau ubin as as a family we love nature and all these Singapore. This trip gave my 8 year a lot of invaluable knowledge about Singapore - things that you cannot find in books but only when you go on a tour. The exciting part is watching other fishermen in action but this is very much dependent on your luck :)
