    El Parque del Amor, Miraflores: Time to go back to the area of Miraflores to stop in Miraflores; gaze at the silken sands and perfect waves for surf of the Pacific Ocean as you arrive at Parque del Amor. Our tour guide, Mariano, was excellent - he was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable! We loved seeing the different neighborhoods within the city of Lima. The amount of time was perfect. We traveled with our two teenagers and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed this tour!

Lima Bike Coastal Bike Tour

This is a great trip for individual adults or families with teens (not pre teens). Our guide Paula was excellent. You would think Lima is not a great cycling city but recent efforts have made this ride very friendly with designated bike paths hugging bluffs along the coast are very safe. The Baranco neighborhood is filled with graffiti/street art that I just loved. The coast is gorgeous, and we stopped for ice cream. I recommend the Sunday ride if possible but not required as the city closes a major road between the city center and Miraflores for only bike riders.

Tito was our guide and we got to see so much of the coastline views on this tour. Tito pointed out various art along the way, made enough stops to not feel to strenuous and point out sites with background information and helped us navigate some of the busier crossings safely. The protected bike lanes are a wonderful addition to the city that make it stress free to ride around. The hill at the end is was definitely tough but worth the view. The bikes we got were very comfortable and easy to ride. This tour is a really great way to cover some ground along the coast of Lima and get to know the coastal districts better.
