Itinerary

El Parque del Amor

We start our tour by picking up each traveler from their Hotel or Airbnb. First, you will visit one of the 50 most romantic parks in the world, located in the Miraflores neighborhood, known as the Parque del Amor, this park is a small and colorful refuge for couples in love. From here you have a magnificent view of the sea. It is inspired by Park Güell in Barcelona and has in the central part a sculpture called "El Beso" by the Peruvian sculptor Víctor Delfín.

Huaca Pucllana

Continuing with our tour, you will visit the Huaca Pucllana Archaeological Site in a panoramic way, a sacred site belonging to the Lima culture.

Plaza de Armas (Plaza Mayor)

Then we will visit the historic center of Lima and walk through its main squares, streets, churches and shreds of the ancient city of the Kings. Likewise, we will walk through the main square of Lima where our experienced guide will narrate the historical background of the old viceroyalty of Peru, we will appreciate the architectural monuments that surround the square, such as the cathedral of Lima, archiepiscopal palace, government palace. As soon as we finish our walk through the historic center, you will visit the chocomuseum, a museum store where it shows us the history of chocolate and cocoa in Peru, we can also taste its typical liquors and jams made from chocolate and cocoa.

Continuing our walk we will observe the old abandoned station today converted into the house of Peruvian Literature, we will also be able to appreciate artisan shops and we will give you time so you can buy Peruvian crafts, after that you will visit an old colonial house today converted into a small traditional bar and In this place we will learn how to prepare the flagship drink of Peru “El pisco Sour”.

Museo Convento San Francisco y Catacumbas

Great tour with Ricardo

Great tour with Ricardo. Ricardo showed us all around Lima. We started in Miraflores and took the Metropolitan bus to the center of Lima. He shared with us many interesting historical and cultural insights. Ricardo also gave us recommendations of sites to spend more time and for great places to eat the many varieties of food to try in Peru. We highly recommend this tour with Ricardo.

Great Day in Lima

We had a wonderful tour of Lima with Marco Polo, our guide. He was very knowledgeable and clearly loved the city. The highlights were the cathedral and catacombs, the old city and the coffee shop. We thoroughly recommend this tour.

Wonderful tour of Lima

Ricardo was great. We were picked up on time from our hotel. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful tour of Lima.

Great introduction to Lima Centro

We did the free tour of Centro Lima starting from Miraflores. Our guide was Roxana who spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. We took a local bus from our meeting area and then extensively toured Centro. We started with some Spanish speaking tourists who joined another group in Plaza San Martin so we essentially had a private tour. We walked to Plaza Main Square and Roxana took us to see the exterior and interior of many of the beautiful buildings. We had a pisco sour tasting to get acquainted with the various flavour options. At the end of the tour she made sure we got back to Miraflores. This was an excellent tour to get oriented to the layout of the city. Roxana was knowledgeable on the city as well as Peruvian history.

Highly recommended - my guide Gorki was an amazing guide with very good knowledge about the modern history of Lima. Also takes awesome pictures for you. Lima was just a transferring city for me but after this tour i regretted not staying longer! The tour company asked to change my tour time because I was traveling solo and they had to pair me up with another group, which fortunately worked with my schedule. Turned out great as I was able to see beautiful sunset at Plaza de Armas. So if you are booking as a single person, make sure to contact the operator in advance to confirm your tour & pick and place and time.
