Very professional tour. Toby's commentary was very interesting and friendly. Everything planned and easy including the boat departure. Picked up and dropped at our accommodation. Boat trip was also good with good service and amazing views. A very enjoyable day.

Thanks to Murray for a superb day. It was much more than a drive to Milford Sound. En route Murray shared his knowledge and passion for Fjordland with us, including at some memorable stops. It was enlightening, enjoyable, and fun as well. The vehicle we travelled in was spacious and comfortable. All apects of the day were well planned. Highly recommended this tour.

We didnt fancy a large coach trip to Milford Sound, so chose Luxe Tours for their promise of more personalised tours. They didn't disappoint. From the moment we got on to the small luxury van, our driver, Murray, kept us entertained and informed with his great knowledge of the area - it's wildlife, geology, history and myths, as well as humorous stories and anecdotes. Its obvious he loves the Fiordland district. The morning weather was kind to us and we were able to make several scenic photo stops, (which the big coach tours don't do.) All the stops were very relaxed, we never felt under any pressure to "hurry along". A stop for hot drinks and the "best ever" muffins on the banks of the river was delightful. We had pre-booked lunch on the boat, and it was served to us in our reserved seats shortly after we boarded. Contrary to some other reviews, we didn't feel the boat was crowded at all. There was plenty of room for everyone. It started to rain as we got on the boat which meant on our drive back we saw some beautiful waterfalls down the rock faces and got some great pics. We had a great day out. Special thanks to Murray for helping to make the day so memorable. And thank you, Luxe Tours, you've got it just right.!

Our guide Murray was knowledgeable and funny. Made our trip very memorable. I highly recommend Luxe tours and enjoyed being in a smaller more personable group.

A small group tour is a great way to enjoy Milford sound. Murray our Tour Guide, was fantastic, very knowledgably, friendly and approachable and really looked after us throughout the day. We stopped for great photo opportunities and fantastic views. He was very informative about a range of subjects, not just related to the trip but many aspects of New Zealand's history and agriculture. We would highly recommend this trip.
