The Gateway of India is an arch monument built during the 20th century in Bombay, India. The monument was erected to commemorate the landing of King George V and Queen Mary at Apollo Bunder on their visit to India in 1911.

The Oval Maidan is a large Grade I recreational ground situated in South Mumbai, India. It is so named because of its oval shape and is situated just south of Churchgate. It is a popular recreation ground, with the most popular sports played there being cricket and football. The ground measures 22 acres in area. Political rallies and religious functions are banned in the maidan.

The project involved structural consolidation of the roof, structural repairs and façade restoration of the Neo Classical building which is an icon of Mumbai.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, formerly Prince of Wales Museum of Western India is the main museum in Mumbai. It is located in the heart of South Mumbai near the Gateway of India. The museum was renamed after Shivaji, the founder of Maratha Empire.
