Overview

Learn how to make homemade fresh pasta easily and successfully. If you have flour and eggs you can make pasta and we will teach you the secrets. We will teach you to make RAVIOLI, TORTELLINI and FETTUCCINE in a location in the centre of Florence. We will cook all the pasta we have prepared with 2 different sauces (tomato sauce and butter and sage) and we will then taste all together the pasta. We will give you organic Tuscan wine produced with natural methods and bottled in our cellar called "Dalle Nostre Mani". Every participant will receive English instructions for making pasta at home, easily and successfully at the end of the experience.

We are in LUNGARNO GUICCIARDINI 17r, 50125, Firenze (please be careful, you have to look for 17 red not 17 blu). If you come by car we suggest you arrive 30 minutes in advance to find parking. You can park in: - Viale Ludovico Ariosto - the area around Piazza Tasso - the area around Porta Romana

Itinerary

We will make 3 types of fresh pasta: fettuccine, ravioli and tortellini. At the end of the making class, we will eat the same, cooked directly by a professional chef. Each participant will prepare their pasta, then we will cook it in the same pot to share it with the rest of the group like an Italian family. The tomato sauce is prepared in advance because it has to cook for about 2 hours. While the sauce for ravioli and tortellini, butter & sage will be prepared in front of you by the teacher. We will, then, serve a dessert (chocolate salami) with limoncello and a booklet that will accompany your pasta future. At the end we offer a wine tasting of wines from our production and you will be able to buy them to ship to your country!

My husband and I had the most fantastic experience at pastamania! Laura was our chef instructor and we adored her! She shared knowledge, experience, skills as well as passion and laughter. We had so much fun making, rolling and cutting the dough - then learning how to prepare various sauces and fillings - but eating the end products - off the charts amazing!! The location was beautiful, immaculate and perfectly appointed - if u r in Florence you must find time for Pastamania - you'll be glad you did!

Had such a great experience here! The instructor Sara was so lovely and informative about pasta, she clearly had a lot of knowledge to share. Really good value for money and close to city centre. Would recommend to anyone who comes to Florence.
