The tour starts from the most notorious sight of Reykjavik: Hallgrimskirkja, the main church, and ends on the opposite side of the city center by the Prime minister's house. Let the voice guide you and discover how Reykjavik went from a Viking village to a booming modern Capitale while seeing local gems and the city’s best-known sites. The tour plays audio automatically at exactly the right time and place using your smart phone’s GPS and the VoiceMap mobile app. Once downloaded, the tour works entirely offline. The total walking distance is approximately 4km and takes about 1.5-2 hours without stopping, but you can pause anytime! This guide was great! Easy to follow, clear instructions and a good level of information and interest. We saw a lot of the city, learned about what we were looking at and really enjoyed it. It took us about 3 hours, walking, stopping to look and listen, stopping for a coffee in a recommended café and enjoying going round at our own pace.
