A picnic area with covered tables and a restroom, as well as the Tanque Verde trailhead. The entire Tanque Verde Trail is over 17 miles long, an adventure that crosses through multiple ecosystems between saguaro desert to alpine forest.

The landscapes were amazing! The guided tour shared information that we would not have otherwise had, notably the fan style of Saguaro cactus and its rarity, the billion-year-old rock formations and the various varieties of cacti. Very informative tour - just enough talking and the music was very enjoyable as well!
