Overview

Tombstone, known as "the town too tough to die" is part of the fabric of the old west with a way of life cut out of an era gone by. Relive the "Shootout at the OK Corral" (entry included) Enjoy live music and lunch at Big Nose Kate's Saloon, or get a cold one at the Crystal Palace. Ride on a real-horse drawn stagecoach (not included) Walk through the headstones at Boot Hill Cemetary (admission included).   • Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (Pass By)

    We will take a ride alongside the "Boneyard", the largest collection of decommissioned aircraft in the world! Prepare to be amazed at the spectacle as we discover the reason why Tucson is the perfect holding ground for these amazing aircraft!

  • Copper Queen Mine Tour

    Explore the old mines of Bisbee, a 45 minute train ride takes you into the cavernous underbelly of the copper mine of the old west! you will see where the miners worked with their picks, loosening the ore bit by bit.

    Stroll along the sidewalks of Tombstone, home of the OK Corral, Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday. Have a cold one at Big Nose Kate's Saloon and take a ride on Tombstone's stagecoach.

A visit to the Wild West Tombstone

This was an enjoyable trip for my husband and I. It leaves the driving to someone else while we enjoy the views and a bit of history of the area narrated by the driver. Our trip accommodated approximately 8 people in the van. We were fortunate to have the other occupants cancel their reservation except my husband and I and were given a private tour. We were able to see the town of Tombstone, the Ok corral, a reenactment of the shootout ( that was an additional fee to see the reenactment) visited Big Nose Kate Bar (where their employee unbeknownst to others was mining privately in his room at night. It is sectioned off for visitors to see at the bottom of the restaurant/bar) we were also able to visit Bisbee mine which consisted of an actual ride on an open air mini train ride into the actual mine. They will loan you a hard hat and vest with attached light to view inside the mine to see where the miners mined their product.

Very knowledgeable staff, great telling of the story of Tombstone. Very cost friendly, stage coaches was clean and traveled the entire area.

Great day trip. I want to go back to both Bisbee and Tombstone. The van is comfortable. Our guide was kind and knowledgeable

Excellent Tombstone and Bisbee Tour

This day trip from Tucson was excellent. The tour left on time and the tour leader Mike provided loads of commentary and background to all the sites. Mike also allowed us to take photographs of sites on the way to Tombstone. We stopped in Bisbee and the time allocated was well enough to see everything. Tombstone was fun and there was so much choice on what activities to do. I recommend Southern Arizona Tours and Excursions and would check out some of their other tours if I had more time in Tucson.
