Launching from the Ziptrek Treehouse at the Skyline Gondola summit, you’ll zipline down the mountain and take in panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu and the snow-capped Remarkables mountain range. With three tours to choose from it's fun for everyone - whether you are looking for an introduction into Queenstown adventure, excited by the thrill of the world's steepest tree-to-tree zipline, or taking the plunge on our newest tour; the Kereru, which features a 21 metre drop!

Meeting points

The Ziptrek Treehouse is located at the top of Skyline gondola. Please turn left and walk approximately 300 feet (100 metres) from the Skyline top terminal building, just past the helipad. Return point: Kereru and Moa tours returns to original departure point Kea tour concludes at the gondola base

The maximum weight for any Ziptrek Ecotour is 125kg (275lbs). The Kea tour has a minimum weight of 30kg (66lbs).
Gondola tickets are not included in price - we recommend a minimum of 60 minutes to access the upper Skyline complex from the base terminal, or at least 90 minutes in peak times
Please bring an extra layer of clothing year round! Jackets, hats and gloves are recommended. Closed toe shoes are essential (no sandals, flip flops or heels)
Prior to your arrival it is mandatory to complete a Participant Consent Form. The web link to this form will be within your voucher
Youths under the age of 14 years MUST be accompanied by a paying adult (15 years and over) on tour. Those 17 years and under must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian who is 18 years or over.
If you or anyone in your group has a medical condition or a recent injury please bring this to our attention. Pregnant woman are unable to go on tour.

We went on the 4 line ziptrek tour. It is a great tour for people who have never zipped before. The heights are not bad. The tour takes between 60-90 min. There are stairs. Our excellent guides Sasha and Lucy were funny and entertaining. They were always very safe.

Second time we have tried this zip line tour. The guides were brilliant they had loads of information about the area and environment. Good safety briefings and fun on the tour.

Did the 4-platforms. Very fun. Guides were experienced and safety conscious. Good for beginner. Note: Need to purchas a gondola ticket and ride to the top or hike uphill about 400 yards. There. are secure bins for your personal items.
