Our extensive whale spotting network, has given us a 90% sighting success rate. Our whale watching tour focuses on Minke Whales, Humpback Whales, Orca Killer Whales, and other marine wildlife such as porpoises, dolphins and other species. Please note Since this is a wildlife tour we can never predict or guarantee sightings of any kind. If there are no sightings on the tour, we do not offer refunds but instead, we offer our passengers a free return to join our tour depending on availability, valid for up to three years. Weather is a big factor for the tour, we may have to cancel the tour due to unfavorable weather conditions. We will notify you via email in the event of a cancellation.

Meeting points

We are located at the Reykjavík Old Harbour close to the city's center. It is the main port of departure for whale watching and northern lights tours. *Please arrive at the meeting point 30 MINUTES BEFORE DEPARTURE.

    Experience the joy of close encounters with mighty whales, graceful dolphins or playful porpoises on our easy-to-join whale watching tours from downtown Reykjavík. We’ll make this a “once-in-a-lifetime experience for you to remember! All year round, you’ll be able to see a wide variety of ocean-going mammals just a few minutes off the coast, including minke, humpback and killer whales, as well as white-beaked dolphins and harbour porpoises. The summer is the peak period, but there is always something amazing to be found in Faxafloi Bay – as well as enjoying the spectacular scenery that surrounds the capital city.

    Harpa is a concert hall and conference centre in Reykjavík, Iceland. The opening concert was held on May 4, 2011. The building features a distinctive colored glass facade inspired by the basalt landscape of Iceland.

Lovely boat, staff on board were great, very communicative so you didn't have to stay outside in the colder and brilliantly informative about the whales and did a great job finding and staying with the whale at a good distance - incredible experience seeing a humpback whale!

Absolutely fantastic experience to put on your list. We were super lucky and saw a humpback whale full body breach the surface multiple times up close. Julian is an expert at marine life knowledge and our captain, whose name I cannot believe I am drawing a blank on to memory was fantastic as well. Overall grand experience.

Great whale watching

We had a 3 hour trip and once we got out to the right area, we spent a good hour watching loads of hump back whales coming up out of the water, some quite close to the boat. Extraordinary! The guide told us quickly where the latest whale was by using clock directions, and explained if the whale had dived or whether it was continuing on the surface so that we could track it. He said we were very lucky to see so many.

Saw 2 humpback whales in the bay, they was very close to the boat, less than 5 metres, we spent over an hour watching them as they came up for air then dived again, wasn’t expecting to see anything but was absolutely blown away by the sights,
