The Tenorio river class 3-4 is a unique adventure where you will submerge yourself in a lifetime experience in the Tropical dry forest of Guanacaste and be in touch with nature and the adrenaline of the white water rafting sport. Itinerary

If you are prepared for a huge adventure, you are surely ready for this. The Tenorio River will test your courage with its rapids class III and IV. For those already rafters this trip is a must. Its continued challenges await you as you plunge through twists, turns, and drops down 10miles of intense, challenging rapids. All participants must be in good physical condition. Don’t forget to bring your swim trunks and comfortable wearing clothes to get wet, rubber sole shoes, a complete change of clothes and towel; sunblock, sunglasses with secure head straps, and a baseball cap or hat that fits tight. Due to its strategic location, this is a pure magic trip, unsurpassed beauty, and stunning wildlife scenery that will take your breath away.

Had a great time. Felipe our guide was excellent. The river was a combination of really good rapids and quiet sections allowing to us see abundant wildlife and the beautiful surrounding forest. Lunch at the end was a really pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this tour.

This is an incredible adventure not for the faint of heart. The guides were welcoming and funny but safety was paramount. The rafting was spectacular. We saw families of white face monkeys and one raft saw a boa(sadly not me). The rapids were running and the drops we’re exhilarating

Leo was our guide and he was AWESOME!!! Top notch would recommend and would do again! You will absolutely get soaking wet fast drying clothes and or a swimsuit was the way to go. The ride to the river was about 30 minutes and going down the river was about 1.5 hours and the ride out from the river was a little longer about 40 minutes giver or take! The guides love what they do and they do an amazing job!!! Make all equipment adjustments before you hop on the raft and make sure you have a strap for your shades! When you stop to sign the waiver they have sunglass straps in the store. Water shoes or serious adventure sandals are a must! If you don’t mind wet shoes sneakers would work too! But you want shoes/sandals that stay on your feet.
