  • Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) (Pass By)

    Situated in the northwest of Beijing City, Summer Palace is the largest and most well-preserved royal garden in China, it famous for its natural views and cultural interests, the palace has long been recognized as 'The Museum of Royal Gardens'. Summer Palace composed by the Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, it has over 3,000 ancient structures, including pavilions, towers, bridges, corridors, etc.

  • Hall of Benevolence and Longevity

    It’s a good idea to book your tickets in advance, particularly in peak season. Choose your preferred date and time slot for the visit and your tickets will be sent to your email. When you arrive at the Summer Palace you’ll be able to enter without delay.

  • Kunming Lake (Pass By)

    When make booking, you can book regular admission which including the main entrance fee only, or choose combination entry to discover other part of the palace’s garden and museum areas( Dehe Garden, Tower of Buddhist Incense, Wenchang Hall, Suzhou Street etc).

  • Long Corridor at the Summer Palace (Pass By)

    Of course you can choose to upgrade for a guided tour when make booking. Your tour guide will accompany you all the way in the palace, and explain the histories and stories along the way. Since it is a private tour just for you and your party, feel free to ask questions during the tour.

It was ok to buy entry ticket online, but you can still buy itat the gate no problem 8f you don0't have reservation.

Nice atttaction

Very nice tourist azttaction. Entering to forbidden city is a bit tricky. We first entered to tiananmen square and from there we could enter the forbidden city.

We met in front of the lions at the East Gate. The spot was easy to find and George contacted us beforehand. George ordered the tickets quickly. There was no waiting time. We had a nice tour in the beautiful Summer Palace area.

Great experience but a lot of walking need to go for whole day as there is a lot to see and enjoy It was lovely to see local people using the grounds for different social activities
