Are you looking for blue ice and ice cave that looks like crystal? In this ice cave tour, you will experience natural unique ice caves in the wonders of Vatnajökull glacier. The tour is intended for people that want to visit an ice cave, get great photo opportunities and an unforgettable experience. Guided by a local company that will take you through the region’s history from settlement until today. Ice Cave Adventure tour is easy, we only have to walk for 30-40 minutes (1.5km) to and from the ice cave, maximum 12 pax in a group. The tour can take between 3-4 hours, of which 45 minutes are spent in the cave, at least enough to get the perfect pictures! On this tour we will not walk on the glacier, all the walk will be done on a gravel path. The age limit is 10 years old.

Fantastic small group adventure with a great guide

This was a great tour into a Crystal ice cave that had several chambers. We particularly chose to go with Glacier Adventures as they are a local company who run small group tours - our group was 10 people - which we prefer to the bigger groups we saw. We really enjoyed the tour - the ice caves were spectacular and the views on the glacier afterwards were wonderful. Our guide, Guillermo, was fantastic - very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He made the tour feel very personal and we learnt a lot about the cave and the glacier. It was easy enough to walk through the caves - we had to duck a few times to pass between chambers, so felt like we'd had a real caving adventure!

Wow! What an amazing tour. This was by the far highlight of our trip to Iceland - our guide Filip was so informative and showed us all the nooks and crannies of the cave. We were able to spend 75 minutes in the cave and learned so much about it. I highly recommend this tour and company!
