Overview

Come and join us for an unforgettable Saturday night in Mexico City like a true local! On this tour, we will explore the exciting nightlife of the historic center of CMDX, capital of culture, social movements, and endless parties. We will begin by walking through the streets of the historic center until we reach the emblematic Plaza de Garibaldi, home of mariachi music, tequila and mezcal. In this place we will listen to different musical genres from all over the country. We will stop at one of the oldest pulquerías, there we will try the pulque, a pre-Hispanic tradition known as "the drink of the Gods". Finally, in the heart of the neighborhood, accompanied by its people and passionate fans, we will witness a Lucha Libre function at the Arena Coliseo, the home of the greatest wrestlers in Mexico City.

Itinerary

Museo Nacional De Arte MUNAL (Pass By)

We will meet at Plaza Manuel Tolsá, in front of the National Museum of Art, an icon of Art Deco architecture.
Palacio Postal (Pass By)

We will pass by beautiful early 20th-century buildings, such as the famous Quinta Casa de Correos de México (Postal Palace).
Plaza Garibaldi

We will enter the famous Tequila and Mariachi Plaza, where we will talk about the origins of these traditions and taste the famous micheladas from the Tepito neighborhood while listening to live music from different regions of the country.

Estacion Mexico is the company to work with when you want to explore CDMX. My best friend and I went out two free tours with them, one for Roma and one for Chapultepec and had such an amazing time, so we decided to book the Lucha Libre experience with them. We did not disappoint. Our guides were very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. They made sure that we had a good time while stayed safe. Highly recommend Estacion Mexico to everyone!

Super fun event. Would definitely recommend. We meet up near the historical center, walked to a bar to get a drink and tequila then walked to the arena for the fights. Super fun. We did ours with Alex who was great.

I was on a solo trip to Mexico City and initially reluctant to sign up for this tour, but I'm so glad that I did! The tour guides were great and kept us entertained and the Lucha libre show was an A+. Would highly recommend.
