So happy we found this tour! I tore my ACL right before my trip and was worried about being able to enjoy vacation with crutches. Ingrid and her team went above and beyond to accommodate me, even arranging for a van to transport me down to the beach from the bus and back. She is so knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. The bus driver, Ioannis, expertly navigated the mountains to the beach and back safely. On the way there, we stopped at a bee farm and got to taste local honey. We spent about 3 hours at Elafonissi beach, where you can rent sunbeds under umbrellas for 20 euro, 30 euro for handicapped section. There are plenty of small shacks for coffee, snacks, and beverages. Showers and changing rooms are free, restrooms cost 1 euro (free for handicapped). Restrooms in the mini markets at the parking area are free for everyone. On the way back, we stopped in Elos where we had about half an hour to eat at a local restaurant next to a bakery. Prices were a bit higher than in Chania and the food was ok, but we were hungry and the staff is friendly. At the end of the tour, we were dropped off very close to our hotel. Thank you, Ingrid and Ioannis! We had a great time :)
