Amazing & Informative - Overall Excellent

My husband and I took this tour on Nov 17th with Mario from Azorean Tours. He was so knowledgeable and interesting with all the islands history and myths regarding the fire crater and Sete Cidades. He also took us through some of the island's various villages beaches waterfalls and even an informative visit of a pineapple plantation. My parents were natives of Sao Miguel and it was wonderful visiting it again. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and a perfect day! I had taken a private tour 2 years ago with Gary to the Furnas... and it had been a great day as well.... therefore my expectations were high this time around. If you are planning a visit to the island, I would highly recommend using Azorean Tours. I plan on using them every time I have a chance to visit this incredibly beautiful place!

Fantastic Tours, Excellent Guide

Cesar was an absolutely fantastic guide! We went on multiple tours with him during the week we were there. He took us to and suggested great local spots. He answered our millions of questions with knowledge and humor. We had some overcast days, and he was still able to show us the beauty of the island. A beautiful place with gracious people, Azorean Tours, especially with Cesar, is an excellent way to experience this magical place.

Gary was one of the best tour guides we have had in a long time! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute we spent with him as he told us about his beautiful country! We highly recommend him and wouldn't hesitate to do it again!!

We had a wonderful tour with Palo(not sure of spelling) He was waiting for us when we got off the ship. He was knowledgeable about everything he showed us as well as answered all our questions. The island is so beautiful, we took lots of pictures and hope to return some day.

Wonderful private tour with Cesar

What a great day with cesar touring the west side. We requested a few extra stops that he happily added. The weather didn't fully cooperate as some crater lakes were fogged in, but he found other spots with great views. Highly recommended!
