I visited the Polynesian Spa as part of a larger tour, and it was a fantastic experience. Check-in was seamless, and before heading to the pools, I grabbed a quick bite at the café.
The pools themselves were excellent and incredibly relaxing. There are four hot pools and one cold plunge pool, each offering a unique experience. The water was clean, though, since the pools are outdoors, there was some natural detritus like fallen leaves and the occasional bug. However, this was easy to overlook while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere and stunning lake views.
It wasn’t entirely clear from the tour description or online whether I needed to bring a swimsuit, but I’m glad I did. Towels are provided with admission, and swimsuits are available to rent for an extra charge if needed. One thing to keep in mind—the pools contain sulfur, so your swimsuit will have a lingering smell afterward.
Overall, this was a wonderful and rejuvenating experience, and I would absolutely visit again!
