Great for penguin lovers (like me)

Enjoyed learning about Antarctica and particularly penguins! Knowledgeable staff and great exhibits. The 4D experience was terrific and probably the closest still get to visiting Antarctica

Nice attraction in Christchurch.

I was a little hesitant about going but eventually decided to go. I was surprised it was pretty informative and enjoyable. I liked the Haggland ride ( it was a little extra). You ride in the arctic snow vehicles and it goes thru an obstacle course of hills and dips and thru water. Feels like a Disney world ride. The arctic experience cold room was also nice. You wear a parka and stand in a room with ice. Huge fans blow at you to simulate an Antarctic storm. Goes down to about -18 degrees. The 4D movie /ride was also nice. It was interesting and worth a visit.

great visitor attraction. All staff very helpful and knowledgeable especially the driver that took us on the Hugland ride, the lady feeding the penguins and the the man who looks after and tells you about the Huskies. A 3 hour visit required.

Great dolphin experience for all ages

Really good experience. The 3d documentary was really good. This would suit all ages and would love to bring my 6 year old grandchildren here.

Dropped in on our way to the airport - which worked well as they stored our luggage for us. Lots to see and do. Enjoyed the Antarctic storm experience - even in bare legs and sandals - and the husky talk. Well worth a visit.
