  • Invermoriston

    We pause at Invermoriston for photos of the bridge and a toilet stop.

  • Eilean Donan Castle

    After Loch Ness, our Skye Tour continues on to Eilean Donan Castle*; one of Scotland’s most photographed castles. The castle is situated on its own island at the head of Loch Duich. We take time here to explore the castle and its atmospheric surroundings.

  • Portree Harbour

    After Eilean Donan, we continue our journey to the Isle of Skye, passing over the Skye Bridge and on to the small village of Portree for our lunchtime stop. Portree, although a small harbour village, is the capital of Skye, and is surrounded by rocky cliffs and rolling hills. Its beautiful surroundings make it a perfect stop to have lunch and enjoy views of the boats.

    We stop at the Old Man of Storr for photos

  • Please note: from 22nd December to 1st February 2025, Eilean Donan Castle will be closed. We will still stop at the castle for photos and access to the bridge will be available. However, the Visitor Centre and toilet facilities will be closed.

Awesome Tour!

The tour was amazing! Mr. Alan our driver was very informative and helpful throughout the entire trip. We got to see the beautiful landscape of the Isle of Skye and take in some of Scotland's greatest natural landmarks. I would highly recommend this tour or any of Timberbush's tours in Scotland.

We did this tour 23.03.25 and our driver guide Alex was absolutely outstanding. His knowledge and humor made the day. We learnt more about Scotrish history than we could have imagined. We were worried thay 12 hours would be too long however it flew over. Thank you for an amazing trip Koren and Ash

I did this tour with my 75-year-old mother and we both thought that our guide Tonks was outstanding. I did tours with Rabbie's, Highland Explorers and Timberbush in Inverness and because of Tonks - Timberbush was the best. Her storytelling ability was truly engaging, and she really knew how to keep your attention. Not fully surprising as she has lots of experience in the theatre world, so her delivery was excellent. She was so knowledgeable about the Scottish history, culture and landscape. I can't recommend her enough. If I could do it over again, I would have booked all the tours she led in my trip because she was so much fun. Thank you, Tonks!
