    Our first stop is in the mountain pass of Glenshiel. A historic battle was fought here, not as you might expect between warring Highland Clans but between the British Red Coats and the Spanish who were in support of the Jacobite Rising of 1719. Today, it's one of the most beautiful mountain passes in Scotland.

  • Eilean Donan Castle

    Located at the intersection of 3 sea lochs on a small tidal island is the most photographed castle in Scotland. It's interiors are as captivating as it is seen from outside. The castle is a popular location for films, TV, advertisements, fashion shoots and music videos.

  • Portree

    We'll arrive in a small quaint town of Portree for lunch. Streets are lined with a variety of quirky local shops. A picturesque stretch of pastel colored houses by the harbour is a favorite photo spot for visitors and locals alike.

  • The Old Man of Storr

    There are many folklore stories about the Old Man of Storr. One version points out to a giant who lived on the Trotternish Ridge. When he was laid to rest upon his death, his thumb—the “Old Man" remained partially above ground. Today, it is an iconic landmark arguably the most popular hike on Skye.

    When the scenery gradually turns to be more surreal along the drive, thats when you know that you are close to your next destination - The Quirang. It was formed at the end of the ice age when a bed of solidified lava about 300m thick broke away and began to slip into the sea creating a 'land-before-time' landscape. It is a photographers, film makers and nature seekers haven. Like many other locations in Skye - The Quirang has been featured in blockbuster movies. Here's to many more.

  • Kilt Rock

    What are the odds of seeing sea-cliffs that resembles pleats and even simulate colors of traditional Scottish kilt - about 180ft high. The Kilt Rock is another geological wonder with traces of dinosaur footprints. The landscape makes some unusual music of its own when strong winds blow described by many as hauntingly beautiful.

    Depending on road accessibility, this is an Option to visit. It is great for avid hikers. There's a 2.4km walk on gravel, peat, grass, heather and rocky path from the parking lot to the stunning waterfall it is famous for. Its location is somewhat off our usual route. If you prefer this option, time will not allow us to go all the way out to the Quiraing.

  • 3. You will be picked-up at your accommodation on the dot and can be dropped-off anywhere you choose within the tour route.
  • 4. Wear appropriate, comfortable clothing. Waterproof hiking shoes and jackets are highly recommended. Carry-ons/Backpacks are welcome but Luggage space is limited. 
  • 5. You can bring lunch or snacks in case we miss restaurants/cafes lunchtime schedule.
  • 6. Minors, Seniors and People with Special Needs must always be accompanied by their respective guardians.
  • 7. We kindly ask that all participants observe mindful public awareness, respect the environment, wildlife and guidelines. Please be conscious about carbon footprint during the tour.
  • 8. For everyone's safety, comfort and well-being, we cannot accommodate the following: i. Children under 5 years old ii. Wheelchair/mobility assistance iii. Anyone with high risk health conditions (i.e expecting a baby, feeling unwell or exhibiting contagious symptoms like cough, heavy sneezing, colds or runny nose). Please do not attempt to join our tour if any one in your group is unwell, recovering or still infectious - your group will be refused service without a refund. We can alternatively offer you another date within the tour season (depending on availability) iv. Any untoward behaviour in general that presents a danger to themselves or others.
  • 9. We will not to be held liable for any accidents, personal injury, damage or loss of property, missed travel schedules or any appointments thereafter. ​
  • 10. Photos and videos taken during our tours may be used for promotional purposes.
  • If you have any medical condition, don't forget to bring your prescribed medication or take them before your tour starts. Bring a bug spray if you are prone to insect bites during summer time, meds for motion sickness, etc. Your health, comfort and well-being will ultimately be up to you.

We were able to customize our day & see everything we wanted to see & hike. 100% worth it not to have to worry about driving. John knew all the best places to stop, & the best places for the most beautiful & memorable photos. The car was clean & comfortable. John was kind, considerate, & hilarious; we were laughing the entire time! John is from the highlands and was a wealth of knowledge; a huge plus because we love history! My mom, aunt & I will remember this day with wonderful memories! Thank you so much!

We absolutely loved our tour guide and driver, John. He was an authentic Highlander and gave us such an informative and historic experience. Along with maybe 10 or 12 tastes of whiskey(we lost count) along the way. He was very easy going and did whatever we wanted on the Isle of Skye, along with showing us beautiful views and sharing local legends.
