Overview

Our Jeep ride through the city of Rio de Janeiro will take you visit two sites of great natural beauty and cultural interest, besides being a trip of fun and full of adrenaline. The excursion TIJUCA RAINFOREST & BOTANICAL GARDEN - JEEP TOUR, begins with a visit to the Botanical Garden, one of the most beautiful and best preserved green areas of the city. Founded in 1808 by D. João, then Prince Regent of Portugal, Botanical Garden is famous for the exuberance and importance of its plant collections, as well as the beauty of its landscapes. Its bicentennial history is expressed in its monuments, buildings and works of art. Then we will go to the National Park of Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world, being able to enjoy panoramic viewpoints along the way. We will stop at the Chinese View Belvedere which features a magnificent view of Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, the Guanabara Bay and the Sugar Loaf Mountain and at the end a stop at Pepino Beach to see the hang gliders

Excellent tour!

We loved seeing the Tucson feeding and a sloth! The waterfall was beautiful and our guides were energetic and full of information!

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the various plants and trees. His passion for the the plants came through while speaking. I was very interesting and he was able to answer our questions throughly. The waterfall was inspiring and the short walk through the forest was great. The Chinese view was great with a view of Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf. The botanical gardens was one of the best I’ve ever been in. A reason to come back.

Great tour and tour guide for Tijuca Rainforest

Andre’ was a wonderful tour guide for the Rainforest and Botanical Garden. The Tijuca Rainforest had wonderful natural scenery and it was great to connect with Brazilian Nature. Andre’ showed us where to buy the best souvenirs and ate lunch with us at an amazing restaurant in Copacabana. Overall an amazing tour day!
