Experience the ancient trading routes by paddling among mangrove mazes and calm waters in the Caapechen lagoon. This is the best opportunity to get introduced to kayaking for first timers or experienced ones who want to explore the incredible natural wonders of this region. What we will see depends on how far we go away from the humans to increase the chances to encounter more wild life but we try to visit the bird islands keeping a proper distance so they feel comfortable with some kayaks around … Welcome Amigos! Great Kayaking Trip!

We loved our kayaking trip! Antonio was great - friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the reserve. We saw tons of beautiful birds, including many spoonbills. We had a very memorable visit!

Me and my friend did the sunset kayak tour and had a fantastic time! Antonio was very friendly and informative and provided a lot of insight into the habitat and birds we were able to see. It is a beautiful trip and so much to see! Would recommend to any travellers looking for fun kayaking plus bird watching!

Incredible and Special

The kayaking experience with Antonio was so special and incredible. Imagine a peaceful, secluded exploration of the reserve with an experienced and kind guide to lead you through the experience. Our group of five wasn’t sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised when it felt like we were transported outside of the hustle and bustle of Tulum to what this area must have felt like 50 years ago. Definitely recommend taking this excursion—it was fantastic. Gracias Antonio.

I highly recommend the kayaking sunset in sian ka'an reserve. It has been such a wonderful experience. Our guide, Juan Antonio, took care of every details to make the tour an unforgettable experience! He explained a lot about the spieces living in the reserve. He is very professional and passionate about his job. I m happy that I decided to visit the reserve in a sustainable and ecofriendly way other than by boat. It was so peaceful and the sun set one of the best I have ever seen. Thank you Juan Antonio for this experience and the pictures! Hope to see you soon again for more adventures in the biosfere.

Amazing experience. We saw a lot of different birds in their roosteries. The staff is very helpful and professional. No prior experience required.
