Itinerary

Elafonissi Beach

The trip to Elafonissi won’t leave you disappointed. We pick you up with our bus and our escort from your hotel or a location in its vicinity. Driving through small traditional villages and crossing the Topolian gorge. After reaching Elafonissi you are free to relax on the beach and enjoy the lovely scenery surrounding you. We are staying on the beach for three to three and a half hours. On our way back we make a stop at the village Elos, where you get the chance to dine at a traditional tavern and try Cretan dishes (optional). Sometime later we head back to your hotel. We hope that you have enjoyed it!

Elos

Elos is a small village with few stone houses where its inhabitants are mostly engaged in agriculture cattle breeding. The village is surrounded by lush greenery, olive groves, and plane trees. On our way back we make a stop at the village Elos, where you get the chance to dine at a traditional tavern and try Cretan dishes (optional).

Right after that, we return to Chania and to your hotels.

I loved all the facts about Crete on the way to Elafonisi beach. The beach is mind blowing. And the canyon is stunning! I enjoyed lunch as well.

Our guide was a master in retorics and an absolute star. His opinions were nor the ones you expect to hear on a arranged tourbus, but his knowledge and refleksjonsnotat madeira the day spesial.

A great way to spend a few hours at Elafonisi and learn more about Crete!

Dimitri, Georgos, and Eva make a great team! While you can take local buses to Elafonisi if you just need transportation, this is a great way to learn a lot about Crete and its rich history. Dimitri has unabashedly strong opinions and he calls it like it is, but that's what makes him so informative and entertaining! The one thing I'd say is the stop to Elos village could probably be done away with.
