Stefanie of Munich Wanderland did the 360° hiking tour with me (I was a regular hiker in my home country but it was the first time for me to do hiking in Germany) in late Oct 2023 which was wonderful - we started at the Munich Central train station and then took the train and bus to arrive at the starting point. We hiked up to the summit seeing the panoramic view of the mountain valley (the view was breathtaking!). We then hiked down to a pretty lake to have Bavarian lunch (and beer of course) and eventually to Mittenwald seeing the beautiful Lüftlmalerei.
Stefanie was the best hiking tour guide I have met so far - she was experienced, well-prepared (eg Stefanie noted from her preparation that one of the trains that we were supposed to take suddenly did not run on the day and had already prepared in advance an alternative transfer arrangement such that our hike could go ahead smoothly. Stefanie also prepared snacks as well as celebration drink for me when we got to the summit!), super friendly (eg I asked Stefanie a lot of questions (regarding hiking, Munich, Germany ...) during the hike who was always very willing to share her views, knowledge and experience) and caring (eg We came to a spot where the soil was waterlogged and quite hard to tell which part was better to be stepped on - Stefanie told me to follow her a few steps behind such that she could make sure the soil that I would step on would be safe). Stefanie also spoke perfect English which was particularly important for me as I could not speak any German.
I strongly recommend anyone who wishes to try hiking from Munich (whether you are solo or with others) to do one with Stefanie for an enjoyable experience like mine!
