    Visit Munich's main Christmas market drag and uncover the history of pre-christian and modern day yule time tradition. Time included for browsing and shopping.

    Near this historic square are two of Munich's most popular Christmas markets. Explore the festive courtyard of the Residence Palace before visiting a special market in the spirit of Medieval times. Here you will pick up a chalice of mulled wine and imagine what Munich must have been like a thousand years ago.

Amazing winter tour

After a few years trying some winter tours in other cities around Germany, we decided to take a second Christmas market tour in Munich. Just like the first, we had an amazing group with us! These tours attract an international clientele, so if you’re looking to share the Christmas spirit with a global perspective, but with the romance of traditional German festivities, this is the tour you’re looking for. I appreciate some of the unique experiences that Katrina found for us. She really figured out how to inspire Christmas feeling while still managing a very professional, warm and welcoming walking tour through what I can only imagine must be some of Munich’s most beautiful Christmas markets. We enjoyed several different markets with numerous stalls. For any visitors who have never had the pleasure of trying it, I strongly recommended the German Gluehwein.

I had read many great reviews of this walking tour operator and this did not disappoint. What a magical way to enjoy the holidays. The guide was so knowledgeable and fun I got so much more out of the market than if I had toured in my own. An amazing way to get in the Christmas spirit and have a great outing. We had the most incredible time! The balance between the food and drinks was just right; you can tell that a lot of thought was put into the design and delivery of the whole tour from the beginning to the end. Considering the whole experience, the cost was amazing. We learned a lot and truly had so much fun! I highly recommend this tour!

This tour was a great experience. Guide was funny and informative. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an interesting tour in English. I've been on four different tours all through Germany and this one was my favourite and the best value for your money.
