Overview

South Trip Preveli Palm beach Following pick-up at your hotel. Sit back and enjoy the dramatic scenery of the Kourtaliótiko Gorge as you make your way to the beautiful beach of Preveli. Get breathtaking views of the blue waters of the Aegean Sea contrasting with the lush green of the palm forest and lagoon. The first stop is Damnoni beach. From here you will take the boat over to Palm beach. Take some free time to soak in all the beauty of the clear blue waters combined with the lagoon and palm forest. Enjoy time to purchase lunch and refreshments in Damnoni and admire its beautiful clean beach. After Damnoni we will visit the small fisher village Plakias. Journey back to Rethymno and get dropped off at your hotel on arrival.

A truly fantastic day out

This was a fabulous day out. Our tour guide Anastasia was fantastic, really friendly and informative, and made me feel really included in the group as a solo traveller. I only wish I could go on further tours with her as a guide! This tour included an hour in Spili, a beautiful mountain village, then time in Preveli beach which is truly the most beautiful beach I have ever seen, followed finally by time in Damnoni beach. There was plenty of time to enjoy each place and I never felt like I needed to rush anything. I would highly recommend this tour, including to other solo travellers. Note that for 2023 the tour no longer includes the monastery.

this place is amazing literally amazing! the view is absolutely gorgeous! i loved this place because you can go to the beach or to the river that is absolutely stunning! the beach isn’t that much of a big deal but if you go to the river it’s gorgeous (i advise you to go to the end of the river because it isn’t so good at the begging) to get to the end of the river you’ll need to walk - swim - climb a bit but its definitely worth it, the water is fresh and clean, there are some small water falls that are gorgeous i really enjoyed going there but you’ll need to bring shoes (for the rocks) and no phone (if you have a go-pro no) because you’ll get wet easily. it’s one of the best places i ever visited it gives a feeling of freedom and it’s amazing for pictures!

beautiful trip! got lots of time to explore both Preveli and Spilli with lots of photo opportunities, i thoroughly enjoyed this excursion, staff were amazing very friendly, nice and informative definitely would recommend!!
