    The famous National Monument, locally known as Tugu Negara, is a historic bronze sculpture that pays tribute to those who died in combat during Malaysia’s battle for freedom against the Japanese occupation during World War II and the Malayan Emergency during 1948 until 1960. It serves as a remembrance of the bravery, courage and unity of the fighters who laid down their lives for Malaysia’s independence. Situated proudly in the Federal capital of Kuala Lumpur, the statue has earned its place in the book of records as the tallest freestanding group of bronze sculptures.

A great day in Kuala Lumpur and a great tour driver!

Before taking this tour, I was on a 12 day cruise, on a large well-known cruise line, with daily "professional" excursions, in several countries - this tour with Andy beats them all. He checked in with me before hand to make sure I was prepared for the trip, was on top of all the tour and paperwork details, was knowledgeable about not only the tour stops but about Singapore and Malaysia in general, and was just plain a really nice guy. And, on top of all that, the tour stops were all AMAZING! I would highly recommend this tour, and this company over any other. You definitely won't regret it! Mahalo Andy for a great day.

Absolutely fabulous tour of Kuala Lumpur. We could not have asked for better communication, tour guide , sights or things to do . Andy was the best and most professional tour guide from the moment we booked until the last minutes together. A full day but so very worth it ! He accommodated us in every way and made this such a memorable trip ! Seeing Batsu Cave is a must ! The Petronis Towers are an architectural masterpiece, and doing the observation tower is definitely worth it! The Central Market --wow!! 100% excellent way to see Kuala Lumpur !

Andy is an exceptional guide and is very knowledgeable about the city. We were able to experience so much of KL in one day and being taken from sight to sight in a comfortable private car made the whole experience easy, even with young kids. This tour was THE PERFECT WAY TO SEE KUALA LUMPUR ! Thanks to our fabulous tour guide , ANDY , who was exceptional on all fronts . From the moment I booked , he reached out to introduce himself and help with the process of entering Malaysia and going up into Petronis Towers and returning /immigrating to Singapore . He was so polite and helpful and so knowledgeable of the areas we covered . I can't imagine a better day spent touring than our time with Andy ! He rates higher than 5 Stars !
