We had a great time with our guide Ruben. He treated us like a very special guest. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at a local establishment and were sent home with treats at the end of our tour. Ruben took us to lots of special places, we could see how much he cared about sharing his culture. I highly recommend this private tour with Ruben.

This was a highlight of our trip to Lisbon. Got to see an amazing, off-the-beaten-path palace, travel to the edge of Europe, go offroading with some great company, food, and tunes (Mario is the man!)!

First off, thank you to Bruno and FlaminGo for still taking our reservation even though we were the only 2 people to book that day (Tuesday during slow season). We appreciate Bruno for being so knowledgeable about the city and history of Sintra. He was a great guide and very accommodating. Our favorite part of the trip was standing on the back of the jeep and driving through the mountains along the coast. This was such a memorable and exclusive experience that is difficult to find anywhere. We would highly recommend this experience for anyone vacationing in Portugal. We took a train from Lisbon to Sintra for a day trip to make this tour and it was very worth it. So even if you’re not staying in Sintra, I would still recommend it!

This was my absolute favorite activity during my trip. Mario started by telling us this wasn’t a tour but a group of friends hanging out together and he did just that. He made the day fun and memorable. From the pretty private look out with the most amazing views, fun journey in the Jeep through the back roads, the deep history and storytelling, to the delicious meal, it was the highlight of my trip. Mario made everyone comfortable and made sure we didn’t feel rushed when exploring.

We had the best time! We saw beautiful Sintra in an amazing way with no lines or waiting. Joao, our guide was knowledgeable and truly loved his country!! We walked through the gorgeous gardens and summer palace of Montserrat then we traveled off-rode in the jeep to see the fabulous mountain, cliffs, and wild ocean!! Truly a spectacular experience!!
