Most memorable things: climbing (& it is not so easy) the pyramid/hill to get up to the church in Cholula, seeing the inside of the main church in the town itself (which was beyond ornate and was 'extreme' in the decoration) and walking around Puebla, which was a long walk - around 2 hours I think), but included a late lunch (included) and a very informative tour of the market place and the cathedral.
Nothing negative to say about this trip - just be aware that it is long. Some churches do not allow photography inside and in others, they ask for a voluntary contribution to the upkeep of the church (which you are not forced to give. The view you see of the orange church with the volcano behind was taken with a drone: you cannot actually get to anywhere yourself to take this shot).
A tiring walk and a long day, but enjoyable and very informative. Enough time given to explore and take pictures at the various locations.
Was picked up at my hotel on time (contact was through WhatsApp a couple of days before and I sent them my picture so they knew what I looked like), then walked a small distance to a car which then took me and a couple of others to the bus parked in central Mexico City - and then we went to Cholula and then Puebla.
Highly recommended.
