Your tour, including your pick up and drop off, is totally customised to suit your timing (the booking system requires a start time, we chose 9.30 as that was frequently ... chosen). Cruise Ship passengers are picked up directly from the Port and independent travellers are picked up from your centrally located accommodation.   • Wellington Wind Turbine

    Enjoy 360 degree breathtaking views across the city and harbour. We will be flexible to fit your needs eg you may prefer to visit Mt Victoria as an alternative lookout point. We can vary the order and timing of activities to suit your interests.

    Check out the wild south coast beaches, with good views of the South Island (weather permitting). Visit the Te Kopahou Reserve Visitor Centre. You may even see dolphins.

    At the Weta Cave, come face to face with characters, props and displays from your favourite movies. Weta's more in-depth workshop tours must be pre-booked and costs are additional. Please ask us for more information.

Wellington Tour ~ Amazing Day!

From booking to the actual day; communication and arrangements were stress free. Our needs were the focus. Jo was amazing; picked us up in a clean vehicle complete with drinks and snacks. Before we headed off, she asked about what type of tour we were after. We had mentioned things to see; she then took us around all the places a big tour bus can’t get to. Excellent company, so knowledgeable with a touch of humour. Back in port with time to spare.. soon stress at all!! Highly recommend

Fantastic Tour Guide in an Incredible City

Fantastic time touring Wellington with Suzee. We laughed and talked the whole day while Suzee effortlessly showed us all the great sites and foodie places. Last-minute changes and inclusions we no problem. Best of all she timed everything to avoid any large tour buses or crowds. She has an incredible knowledge of both current events and the history of New Zealand. Had a fabulous time – felt like being a local with a best friend showing us around. Highly recommend.

Great day in Wellington

We had a FANTASTIC day with Jo at the helm!! We didn’t know anything about Wellington and little about New Zealand but Jo added to our knowledge base considerably. UTours and Jo were focused on us…. From pre-tour communications to “on the fly” desires, Jo constantly was checking with us on what we wanted to see and do, what we could bypass and what questions we had. She was a font of knowledge and we LOVED it. We went all over Wellington…. Along the coasts, up to the Wind Turbine, through the town, to WETA Cave, round trip on the Cable Car, seeing the Government buildings and one of my favorite stops was the Old St Paul’s Church. And did I mention lunch in Cuba? Neat area and Fidel’s had great food. I’m glad we got UTours to show us around. Now I’m planning my next trip to the wine country north of Wellington…. And guess who will be leading us!!! Thanks Jo for a GLORIOUS day!!

My husband and I had a lovely full day private tour with Suzee. We didn't give Suzee much input except to treat our tour as though she was entertaining her family or friends. Suzee stepped up to the challenge. We had a great day seeing Wellington and great conversations with Suzee. Thank you!

What a great day! Suzee is a great ambassador for Wellington! She loves her city and it’s her desire to share it with her guests. First thing she asked us was what did we want to do, see, not miss during our tour? She knows the best cafes, overlooks, gift shops, coffee shops, historical sites in town. While it was a relaxed day, it was filled with everything we wanted to see in Wellington. One of the best days of our New Zealand trip-hands down!
