A perfect tour with Shruti to see and taste the street foods of Mumbai. I tried so many many different foods that I would not have tried without the confident advice of a local guide.

An experience for all senses. Colors, smell, taste, eating style in the busy streets right when businesses close. My guide carefully selected the places, being aware that my European stomach was not fully tunes yet to Indian food.

Went as part of a tour group - it was a great way to try so many different types of food! I felt safe eating all the food - and trying things I never would have been brave enough to on my own. Don’t eat too much at the first stop - there is so much good stuff!! Ankit and Meherban were a great duo.

Delicious Food Tour of Mumbai!

Before you go on a food tour around Mumbai, enjoy a good breakfast, then don’t eat again until the tour! We had lunch and were unable to do justice to the food that we sampled! Our guide Nasreen took us on a fabulous food tour during which we sampled “puri” which are fried bread that puff up and are eaten with dips. We tried “vada pav” which are a type of potato dumpling in a bread bun, we went to an Irani restaurant to try an eggy dish, then a cheese “dosa” which is a thin savoury crepe that can be served with a variety of fillings and then we finished with some very delicious “kulfi” - a frozen dessert. We did see some other foods on our travels, but were just too full to eat any more! A delicious tour of Mumbai.
