Itinerary

  • Singapore

Begin with an early morning pickup at your Singapore hotel. 2 of our trained staff (1 English-speaking guide and 1 separate driver) will meet you at the hotel driveway to check your documents before escorting you through immigration via the drive-through border (no standing-in-line). After clearing immigration, arrive at the regional airport to have breakfast first at a table-service cafe, before boarding your flight to Malaysia's capital - Kuala Lumpur.

    1 hour

  • Batu Caves

Upon arrival in Kuala Lumpur, your English-speaking guide will escort to a waiting air-conditioned minivan to begin your tour of Kuala Lumpur. Your first stop in Kuala Lumpur will be Batu Caves. The limestone forming Batu Caves is said to be around 400 million years old. Batu Caves was founded by K. Thamboosamy Pillai, an Indian trader in 1891, as a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Murugan. A 42.7-metre high gold-painted statue of Lord Murugan was unveiled in January 2006, having taken 3 years to construct. It is the tallest Lord Murugan statue in the world.

    30 minutes

  • N/A

Located near the massive Lord Murugan statue is the Sri Ganesar Temple, dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the Hindu deity of wisdom and remover of obstacles. In the temple, you can see many altars of worship which house the murti of the deities. Sometimes you can also see devotees performing the pooja, consisting of mantra chanting dedicated to Lord Ganesha asking that any obstacles be removed during their worship. Pooja is considered a technique for fostering their spiritual growth by facilitating action (karma), devotion (bhakti), knowledge (jnana), and focus (raja), all of which are offered with humble and loving surrender to the deities. You can also see metal lamps with clarified butter (ghee) which symbolise the victory of knowledge over ignorance.

    20 minutes

  • Istana Negara

30 minutes drive from Batu Caves is the Istana Negara (National Palace). It is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the monarch of Malaysia. The palace complex has an area of 97.65 hectares, 22 domes, and is split into three main portions: the Formal Component, Royal Component and Administration Component.

    20 minutes

  • N/A

Next stop after the National Palace is the famous National Monument, locally known as Tugu Negara. It is a historic bronze sculpture that pays tribute to those who died in combat during Malaysia’s battle for freedom against the Japanese occupation during World War II and the Malayan Emergency from 1948 till 1960. It serves as a remembrance of the bravery, courage and unity of the fighters who laid down their lives for Malaysia’s independence. The statue has earned its place in the book of records as the tallest freestanding group of bronze sculptures at 15-meter high.

    20 minutes

  • National Mosque (Masjid Negara)

10 minutes drive from the National Monument is the National Mosque of Malaysia. The mosque has a capacity for 15,000 people and is situated among 13 acres of gardens. Its key features are a 73-metre-high (240 ft) minaret and a 16-pointed star concrete main roof. The umbrella, synonymous with the tropics, is featured conspicuously – the main roof is reminiscent of an open umbrella, the minaret's cap a folded one. The folded plates of the concrete main roof are a creative solution to achieving the larger spans required in the main gathering hall. Reflecting pools and fountains spread throughout the compound. Completed in 1965, the mosque is a bold and modern approach in reinforced concrete, symbolic of the aspirations of a then newly independent nation. Note: Guests who wish to enter the mosque may do so briefly, provided it is not closed to the public (ie: outside Friday prayer times). Otherwise, guests may be respectfully requested to only take photos from the outside.

    20 minutes

  • Warisan Merdeka Tower (Pass By)

From the National Mosque, you will have a vantage view of the Independence Tower, locally known as Merdeka 118. Topped with a massive 160-meter spire, the tower is still under construction. When completed in end 2023/early 2024, it will be the world's second-tallest structure, surpassing the Tokyo Skytree at 634 meters.

  • Dataran Merdeka

10 minutes drive from the National Mosque is the Independence Square (Merdeka Square). This is the historical place where the Union flag was lowered and the national flag was raised for the very first time at the struck of midnight of 31st August 1957.

    20 minutes

  • Sultan Abdul Samad Building (Pass By)

From the Independence Square, you will have a vantage view of the Sultan Abdul Samad building, which is among Kuala Lumpur’s earliest Moorish-style buildings. It was built in 1897 and was named after the reigning sultan of Selangor at the time. The distinguished landmark originally served as the offices for the colonial British administration and the superior courts of Malaysia.

  • Royal Selangor Club (Pass By)

From the Independence Square, you will have a vantage view of the Royal Selangor Club. The club was founded in 1884 and originally served as a meeting place for high ranked and educated members of the British colonial society. Selangor is the name of the state in which the capital - Kuala Lumpur is located.

  • N/A (Pass By)

From the Independence Square, you will have a vantage view of Dayabumi Complex. Built in 1984, it was one of the city’s earliest skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur to incorporate principles of Islamic design into its architecture.

  • KL Tower (Pass By)

10 minutes drive from the Independence Square is the Menara Kuala Lumpur, also known as the KL (Television) Tower. It is a 421-meter tower primarily used for telecommunications, sitting on a 94-meter hill affectionately known as Bukit Nanas to the locals. Guests will be able to take photos with the iconic "I love KL Tower" sign here with the tower as the backdrop.

  • N/A (Pass By)

Near the KL Tower is the World Peace Gong, which is an Indonesian symbol of world peace. It was first launched in Bali in 2002. This gong can also be found now across the world such as Malaysia, Croatia, Hungary, Colombia, Laos and China.

  • KLCC Park

After an upscale lunch at 5-star hotel restaurant, your guide will bring you to KLCC Park, where you can take iconic ground photos of the world-famous Petronas Twin Towers.

    20 minutes

  • Petronas Twin Towers

After taking exterior photos at KLCC Park, your guide will bring you into the Petronas Twin Towers. The Petronas Twin Towers are currently the world’s tallest twin structures. The 88-storey buildings are joined at the 41st and 42nd floors by a 58m double-deck Sky Bridge. You will get to visit the Sky Bridge on the 41st floor, as well as the Observation Deck on the 86th floor, accompanied by a Petronas in-house security escort. Note: After visiting the Petronas Twin Towers, guests who have selected the "Premium Twin Towers Visit" option, will get to experience a scenic 45-minute fly-past experience onboard a private 4-seater sightseeing plane (Piper Cherokee or similar).

Private guieded daytrip with personal Guide Singapore-Kuala Lumpur-Singapore

Published on Apr, 2024

Fantastic. Elmo was our personal Guide for 1 day. Elmo lives in Malaysia. He is very familiar with all questions to the country and Kuala Lumpur itself. Trip: From 6 am to 7 pm. Pickup at hotel - private transfer with limousine to domestic airport Johor Bahru - breakfast - flight to Subang airport (Kuala Lumpur) - always accompanied by Elmo - sightseeing to all the hotspots inkl. an exclusive lunch at a very fine hotel. Elmo arranged everything. He is a perfect organizer. The whole trip was perfect planed. Elmo organized ALL the paperwork at the customs inkl. flight tickets in advance. There was NOTHING to do for us. Except private guided sightseeing. It was a pleasure. Without Elmos organisation NO way doing this in 1 day. Great job.

Quick way to see Kuala Lumpur while in singapore

Published on Apr, 2024

Elmo was a wonderful guide for the day. The whole process - pickup at our hotel, immigration at the borders, flight checkin, meals and transportation - was handled professionally and efficiently. We felt very comfortable in Elmo’s care for the day. We enjoyed seeing the major sites in Kuala Lumpur all in just one day. The lunch was one of the best meals we have had all week.

Day trip to Kuala Lumpur

Published on Apr, 2024

Picked up promptly at 5am from the hotel by the driver and tour guide. Drove across the Malaysian boarder to switch guides and proceeded to a small airport for a commercial flight to Kuala Lumpur (KL) on a small plane. In KL my tour guide and myself (private tour) was greeted by another driver. We started at Batu caves. Climbed our way to the top of the steps to the limestone caves, monkeys were on the side being mischievous. We visited many other sites that were listed in the itinerary and never was I rushed to continue to other locations. Breakfast was served at the airport. Lunch was a buffet at Lemon garden. All food options were very delicious! Thank You it was the best private tour of KL!

Wonderful tour

Published on Jun, 2023

We arranged this tour directly on the website. Aulia was a wonderful guide who was very accommodating, considerate, and knowledgeable. The tour was a fantastic opportunity to see a lot of KL in a short amount of time. The flight is comparable to a Southwest Airlines flight in the US, and the regional airport is extremely lovely. Given how hot it was outside, the van's air conditioning made for a really comfortable ride. We had plenty of toilet breaks and water in the van. The only money we paid was on items we bought at the mall; everything else, including meals and admission fees, was free. The meals were excellent (we had a buffet lunch at the KL Tower and breakfast and dinner at airport restaurants with both western and more traditional options).
