Me and husband had a great trip to Wanaka and Arrowtown with Peter our host, who was a mine of information.
Really comfortable minibus with 4 other people. Plenty of viewing stops and toilet breaks. We an hour at Wanaka where there are plenty of shops, cafes and lake front views. Then another hour at Arrowtown, which is a fabulous town originally known for gold mining.
We stopped at the beautiful Cordona pub on the way to Wanaka where we got a complementary drink. The gardens out back were absolutely beautiful.
We had a great lunch at the Big Fig in Wanaka ( not part of the trip) and then a huge ice cream at Patagonia in Arrowtown.
Peter was a lovely, supportive host who took photos and gave us lots of details about the whole area. Thanks Peter!
