A well-paced day with tour guide Sarina. Stops at Cardrona Hotel for a ginger beer, lunch at Lake Wanaka, and afternoon tea at Arrowtown were all very interesting and enjoyable. A highlight was seeing the famous Wanaka tree. Sarina provided useful information such as the best places to buy lunch or an icecream and even dining options in Queenstown.

Fab day out at Wanaka and Arrowtown

Me and husband had a great trip to Wanaka and Arrowtown with Peter our host, who was a mine of information. Really comfortable minibus with 4 other people. Plenty of viewing stops and toilet breaks. We an hour at Wanaka where there are plenty of shops, cafes and lake front views. Then another hour at Arrowtown, which is a fabulous town originally known for gold mining. We stopped at the beautiful Cordona pub on the way to Wanaka where we got a complementary drink. The gardens out back were absolutely beautiful. We had a great lunch at the Big Fig in Wanaka ( not part of the trip) and then a huge ice cream at Patagonia in Arrowtown. Peter was a lovely, supportive host who took photos and gave us lots of details about the whole area. Thanks Peter!

Wayne is an incredibly professional and passionate tour guide. It's hard to believe that after 12 years of doing the same route every day, he still introduces the history of this place with such enthusiasm. His continuous commentary throughout the journey made the trip extremely engaging. His driving skills are unbeatable—navigating the winding mountain roads with incredible smoothness.
