Overview

Tickets and head straight to Giotto’s Bell Tower – one of the most prominent representations of Florentine Architecture. On the journey, the monument presents beautiful pieces of art from prominent architects. At the top of the tower, you will met with a stunning and unparalleled panoramic views of Florence. You will begin your climb with a view of the hexagonal panels inspired by Genesis. As you continue your journey, you will see the Lozenges, a creation of Andrea Pisano – a popular Italian architect. Your climb will conclude with the last three levels, a feat in symmetry by Francesco Talenti, known for his influence on architecture in Florence.

    You will Climb to 414 steps to see the panoramic view of Florence. You can see the wonderful dome of the cathedral, 360 degree views of the rooftops of Florence, and beyond. Your climb with a view of the hexagonal panels inspired by Genesis. As you continue your journey, you will see the Lozenges, a creation of Andrea Pisano – a popular Italian architect. Time it so you've reached the top by sunset!

Its lots of steps but worth the climb. We happened to reach the level just below the bells as the began to chime! Once to the top level we enjoyed picking out the landmarks below. Such a beautiful city. People on top of the dome waved back at us! It was like being on top of the world. Beautiful.

413 steps to the top and worth every step. Views were fantastic! Be aware of tight quarters along the way but there are a few open areas to stop and relax if you need too.
