Parco Acheologico di Ercolano

Your private certified guide will introduce you to the History of the ancient Herculaneum. We will take care of purchasing skip-the-line tickets. This unforgettable walking tour will make you discover the highlights of the Archaeological Park: the private homes, the bath-house, the shops, the main street, etc. Marvel at incredible frescoes and mosaics! We will see the remains of fossilized wood. We shall of course see the dramatic skeletons of the victims by the ancient marina. If you are traveling with kids choose the unique and entertaining family experience. This activity comes highly recommended for children between 6 and 11 years old. The “Herculaneum for kids” is led by a licensed guide properly trained to stimulate and interact with your kids with the help of a specific map, funny tools, stickers, and an activity book.

Centro Storico Ravello

If selected on tour, it makes a good pair with Amalfi in terms of distance and traveling time - Ravello is a lovely resort town with some stunning views. If you wish you can decide to visit on own its wonderful Duomo or the beautiful Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo with their spectacular gardens. Or simply sit down at one of the lovely cafés in the Town square and watch the world go by. Great opportunities for local ceramic shopping if you wish.

Fontana sant'Andrea

If selected on tour - it makes a good pair with Ravello in terms of distance and traveling time. Amalfi was once the glorious capital of the Amalfi Coast. Today it is a vibrant town where you can enjoy some free time for visiting and/or shopping and/or checking the beach out.

Fornillo

If selected on tour - it makes a good pair with Sorrento in terms of distance and traveling time. Positano is the best known resort town of the Amalfi Coast. The views from the Amalfi Drive down to Positano are just unforgettable. You can stop there and enjoy on own the pedestrian area full of lovely shops: art galleries, ceramic and sandal workshop, Positano-style linen fashion. Or also you can decide to walk down to the beach to check the Mediterranean Sea!

Chiostro di San Francesco

If selected on tour - Sorrento would be our recommendation when visiting Positano, in terms of distance and traveling time. Sorrento is an ancient town located on a stunning cliff. In the Old Sorrento there is a great outdoor pedestrain market area where you will find the best opportunities on the coast for eating and shopping.

Torre di Cetara

If selected on tour with your driver - Cetara makes a good pair with Amalfi or Ravello. Cetara is on a a few places off-the-beaten track on the Amalfi Coast. You can take some time on own to explore the village, check the little beach and browse the shops. There are nice little restaurants as well. If you would be interested you can also ask your driver to stop by one the traditional workshop that produce the famous fish sauce called "colatura di alici". If you wish to visit to Old Tower let us know so we can reserve double check the availability.

Please be aware that one day in not enough to visit all the coast. We normally manage to stop in one or two of the villages on the cost, beside of course Herculaneum. You will be free to decide with the support of your driver where would you prefer to stop and how long for.
Comfortable walking shoes and sun gear are recommended
For those not willing to take the entire walk inside Herculaneum, there are some of cafés and gift shops right outside the entrance

Great trip to Pompeii and Amalfi Coast

Wonderful tour with Fabrizio. Had to be the best day of our 10 days in Italy. He was on time extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He knew every bit of Pompeii and made it seem alive as if we were there back in time. Lunch in Sorrento and beautiful drive on the Amalfi coast. Truly a personal experience. Recommend for anyone looking for a great experience!

This was by far the highlight of our 20 day trip. Fabrizio is not only extremely knowledgeable, but a pure pleasure to be around, and just an overall good person! He made the day fantastic for my wife and I, and we will always keep in touch with him. It is worth the extra money to go private, as it is YOUR vacation. Tell him we said hello if you see him :)!!

Customizable private tour was the best of our vacation

We were met promptly at the Naples cruise terminal by Giuseppe, our guide, and Pasquale, our driver. Both of them were very professional yet personable. We had discussed an itinerary previously but right from the beginning switched things up by asking to go to Herculaneum instead of Pompeii (hoping to avoid some of the crowds. They had no problem altering our itinerary and we were so glad we went to Herculaneum. It was practically empty first thing in the morning and we had a great tour thanks to Giuseppe's wealth of knowledge of history and the Herculaneum property. From there we drove to Sorrento, enjoying beautiful views and conversation. Giuseppe recommended an excellent traditional restaurant just outside of Sorrento with great views. We had a little time to shop and enjoy Sorrento after that. Worst part of the day was probably the traffic getting into and out of Sorrento--but since there is one road in and out, not much our driver could do about it. Then we went into Naples and walked around some of the beautiful landmarks in the downtown area. We didn't have enough time to do it justice, but thanks to Pasquale and Giuseppe's efforts we were able to see a lot in a short time. We would definitely hire them again and found out that they work out of Rome as well--good to know for next time.
