Classic Wine Tour - Running Daily 1:30pm - 5pm Get a real taste for Central Otago wines with an interactive afternoon tour through Queenstown’s neighbouring wine region, Gibbston, otherwise known as the “Valley of Vines”. Enjoy tastings at three unique cellar doors including a guided tour and wine tasting inside New Zealand’s largest wine cave. Also, enjoy a delightful cheeseboard to accompany one of the wine tastings. Enjoy a full running commentary from your passionate and enthusiastic Wine Guide. Learn about this pioneering wine region and its evolution from just a couple of rows of vines into a world-renowned Pinot Noir producer. Be returned to your accommodation at approximately 5pm.

Enjoyable afternoon visiting three wineries. Tastings were provided at each site, together with explanations of the wines styles of the region. The wines were of a high quality. A cheese plate was provided at the third stop.

Great wine tour

Excellent tour - visited one ‘commercial‘ and 2 ‘boutique’ vineyards. Craig, our driver, was a good source of local knowledge, cheerful, helpful and kept us to time! Personal favourite was the Mt Rosa vineyard where we had a cheese board with the wine tasting. Family run, with pleasant knowledgable staff and a great feel about it. That’s not to say that the other 2 weren’t good, they were, and the wine cave was impressive. Would recommend :)

Lovely trip made special by our guide John who took us to see different parts of the area and answered our questions. It was a lovely trip in to 3 vineyards lovely wines to taste with a great fun group

We did the classic wine tour as a family of 4 including 2 children in Dec 23rd. The tour was fantastic. We visited 3 lovely wineries. The wine tasting was very good and the cheeseboard at the last winery was fantastic. Highly recommended if you are in Queenstown.

Donna was a wonderful tour guide with great knowledge and fun facts to pique our interest. This is a great tour if you just want a half day with some key wineries. We had a great time and loved the chosen wineries.
